BSNL Services
The BSNL advertisement featuring Preity Zinta is the height of laziness i guess to make an ad..it could have been a better one.The ad shows how a boy comes along with his family to Preity Zinta's place with a marriage propasal. On meeting both the families agree and the marriage is finalised so when asked for the residential number in case for further discussion, the boy's father mentions his residential address and.. comes the twist... on hearing this, Preity(the girl who is supposed to get married to the boy) ,raises a question and says if you dont have a BSNL landline connection you dont have an identity...(pehchan) so i am not marrying in a house where there is no BSNL landline connection.Firstly is there a logic between the marriage and the landline connection???Why will anybody reject a person for not using something. And secondly how come a well groomed boy on the other hand does not have a landline..the settings potrayed in the particular ad shows that both the boy and the girl are from a well to do family. The ad though indirectly says that it has a large number of users that others can relate to but it also does not come out with the main idea behind the services that the BSNL company tries to provide. The ad says that if you dont have the BSNL connection you are not suitable for marriage!!!It seems like the girl will loose her prestige of being a BSNL landline user. The ad is seriously a very bad product which does not go well with the audience.
